This marketing document aimed at deep state intelligence services – obtained by The Intercept – outlines Palantir’s capabilities in searching through citizen data obtained through deep state mass surveillance.
The software can search through various sources of data including phone communication, internet traffic and documents. It establishes patterns and networks between entities and can use these to track groups and individuals.
The document also directly contradicts founder Peter Thiel, who had previously publicly denied that the software was developed alongside government agencies. Under the ‘Key Facts’ section it clearly states that it was ‘designed with the input of operators and analysts within the IC and DoD’.
